Feeding our communities and keeping them healthy and safe are our top priorities. We are closely monitoring the progress of the COVID-19 pandemic and taking the necessary measures to adapt our business continuity plan accordingly. Our employees are working together daily to maintain the quality of Sollio Cooperative Group’s services and activities in order to prevent and mitigate the potential impact of COVID-19.
Sollio Cooperative Group has implemented measures to ensure the safety of our staff, customers and suppliers. Our measures focus on the continuity of service and build on our past experiences. In light of public health recommendations from the relevant government authorities, our emergency response team is working hard to continuously monitor and closely manage the safety challenges of this pandemic on company operations.
It is clear to us that the COVID-19 situation will change in the coming days and weeks. Our management unit has been tasked with closely monitoring this situation to ensure that our operations run smoothly and that continuity is maintained.
Our offices are open and we are able to guarantee service to our customers. Arrangements have already been made to encourage our staff to work remotely whenever possible. Travel restrictions and public health recommendations have been communicated to staff. The current situation requires us to limit our meetings and adapt our service approach, according to your particular needs, through telephone meetings or videoconferencing.
Our three divisions, Sollio Agriculture, Olymel and BMR Group have plans adapted to the situation to ensure the safety of their employees while maintaining the continuity of service with their suppliers for all their customers.
Sollio Cooperative Group, a federation representing over 122,000 members, farmers, and consumers grouped in 50 traditional and consumer agricultural cooperatives across several Canadian provinces, maintains regular contact with government authorities to address the day-to-day challenges of this pandemic.
Lastly, we add our voice to the messages surrounding the pandemic crisis we are all currently in. We understand the challenges ahead, in particular, if you, your colleagues or others around you have been impacted by its effects. Our hearts go out to our communities, to you and your loved ones, and we will pay close attention to the health and safety of our staff and their families.
